Peter Lawongkerd Presents on Henrik Ibsen

This afternoon, Peter Lawongkerd, a college-four student studying for the Diocese of Oakland, successfully presented his capstone project entitled "Ibsen's Modern Tragedy: A Different Perspective on Marriage and the Cause of Divorce."

In his project, Peter discussed two of Ibsen's plays, A Doll's House and Hedda Gabler.  He also conducted original interviews for three case studies that he included in his discussion of divorce.

Dr. Creighton Lindsay served as the director of Peter's project. Sister Hilda Kleiman, OSB, served as his reader, and Dr. Mark Van Ness served as the English standards reader.
