The Seminary Stampede - Reprise

Father Paperini, the President-Rector of Mount Angel Seminary, has shared his photos from the Seminary Stampede last spring.  It was a great Western-inspired evening of food, music, and visiting as the seminary approached the end of the school year.

As we approach the beginning of the new school year toward the end of this month, watch our blog for news about the journalism program and ways in which you can participate in the program's work.  The possibilities include sending in your own pictures to be posted on the journalism blog.

Remember that if you are subscribed to our blog through email - see the link on the right! - and are using a Mount Angel account, you will not be able to view the pictures within your email, but you can click on the link for the title of the post, and that will take you right to the post and the pictures.

Fr. Paperini (center) enjoyed the BBQ with some other faculty members.

Abbot Gregory and other members of the monastic community joined the Stampede as well.
Enjoy the pictures, and thank you Fr. Paperini!

Dr. Elaine Park enjoyed sharing the Stampede with the monks.

Fr. Peri (right) shared the evening with some students.

Kathy Akiyama, a professor of English Communications,
was greeted by Bert Mello, one of the organizers of the Seminary Stampede.

Ricardo Rusega and friends took in the colorful Western attire and decorations.

Quyen Truong, one of last year's journalism students, paused for a smile outside on the patio.

Father Paperini captured Sister Hilda, coordinator of the journalism blog, hard at work!
